The day after the UK Government published its new White Paper on adult social care reform, The Conversation and the International Public Policy Observatory held a webinar to discuss the pros and cons of the White Paper – and more broadly, the future of adult social care in the UK.
The webinar was hosted by Conversation Commissioning Editor Dale Berning Sawa, who was joined by:
- Isaac Samuels, Co-chair of the National Co-production Advisory Group;
- Liz Jones, Policy Director, the National Care Forum;
- Sir Geoff Mulgan, IPPO Co-investigator and Professor of Collective Intelligence, Public Policy and Social Innovation at UCL; and
- Jon Glasby, Professor of Health and Social Care at the University of Birmingham; Director of IMPACT (Improving Adult Care Together), the UK centre for evidence implementation in adult social care.
